Metropolis

Metropolis is a free, modern and geometrical sans serif font family which can be used as Proxima Nova alternative. The design of the Metropolis was influenced by other popular geometric, minimalist sans serif typefaces, which I think should be the aforementioned Proxima Nova and Montserrat etc.

Metropolis comes with 9 font weights and each comes with italic version too, which makes it a huge family of 18 styles. It’s minimalistic design contributed to the readability on small font sizes, while still looking brilliant on big displays. You can download and use it for personal and commercial projects, as it’s licensed under SIL Open Font License.
