Fixel

Fixel is a unique grotesque sans serif font with a human touch. It combines the characteristics of a geometric and humanist grotesques style, while striking a balance between restraint and a sense of playfulness. Overall the font looks tidy and clean that is suitable for readability, but if you take a look closer, you can see some unique design feature like the letter “a” and “g” as pointed out by MacPaw, the owner of the font. Not only that, some of the letters comes with alternatives that are more playful which gives the font a more human and warm feeling to it. According to MacPaw, the font name Fixel is actually their cat’s name!

Fixel comes with the text and display style with slight difference in the kerning and letter width. On top of that each style comes with a total of 9 weights from thin to black. It also comes with variable font format too. You can download the font for free to use it commercially.
