Gridular is a pixel font that was created mostly on a 5×7 grid system. It was originally started as an experimentation based on reference works from Wim Crowel’s type design, the result is a interconnected pixel font with slight rounded edges. The aim is to strike a dynamic balance between the decorative and the functional.
The font greatly resembles a monospaced pixel font but with few characters are proportionate to help better with the flow in a running text. However, those selected characters have a alternate version that adhere to the 5×7 grid. Gridular comes with extended latin character hence it can support many languages. It is free to download and to be used for commercial works.
